    Calculating aggs?

at 100 yards add the 5 groups together and double it, at 200 add the five groups and move the decimal over. Rick Hornbeck and Larry Engelbrecht taught me that one. I thank them both.

    Case sticking in Wilson Die

Apollo, I've had the same problem, two very simple things helped me a lot, first and you may have already done this, take a couple patchs wet with solvent and clean the die, second, after you have seated the bullet pick the die up in your hand, and lift the stem slightly, and then let it ste...

Does this gunsmith know something that the rest of us do not?

I wasn't trying to make the point that snapping makes it tight enough, I was along the lines if you snap it and you can unscrew it by hand, things most likely are not square, and it for sure is NOT tight enough. I like the 50 60 foot pound range myself.

Does this gunsmith know something that the rest of us do not?

Not much knowledge on my part, but what little I have, if you change a BR Barrel, and give it a good snap to bring it up tight, if things are square and straight as they should be, you will not be able to unscrew it by hand. I another case building a Rimfire BR run using a custom Action, I...

    colombo barrel

I would bet the Colombo on the barrel indicates that Marty Colombo from Pine Bush NY Chambered and fit the barrel to the rifle. His phone number is in the book, but I think he is in Florida fishing at the moment. Marty had his own Machine Shop and did Barrel work as well.

R.W. Hart & Son in Nescopeck, PA make a one piece Ring and Base that come in two different heights. The ones for a Small Round Action works good on a Turbo. You can check them out on their web site. I had a pair on mine and liked them.

    Need Wind Flag Advice

Both of these flags are great. One thing you might consider is do the majority of the shooters where you shoot use one or the other. If so you might consider going with what the majority use. It helps if you don't have enough for full rotation you can take advantage of others flags, and you can...

Right bolt, right port and bench reloading "table manners".

I'm far from an expert on any of this, but one word of advice given me by my son. Don't start the next shot until you are done with this one. Whether you shoot fast or slow, do not move until the bullet is GONE..........
