So far the guys at our club have shot at least 2 cases in the past year.
The only FTF,s were when the primer was not fully seated to a crush fit.
The ES is way smaller then the other brands , over the screens
Usually we shot the federals but since the dry up and higher prices many of us have switched to the wolfs. not because we like to either but due to supply.
I've had misfire problems with Wolf SRM in a Panda. I've tried different seating techniques with no luck. Wonder if I drop down to a .062" firing pin, if it will help with misfires?
No, a .062 firing pin would probably make matters worse.
Are you using the original Kelbly firing pin assembly? What kind of trigger are you using?

Can someone please explain to me how FTF has anything to do with seating bullets on or off the lands? I must be confused because I'm thinking FTF has more to do with headspace or a firing pin problem than with bullet seating depth. Several things come to mind with firing pins such as not enough travel, to light a spring etc. But I've been wrong before. So I hope someone will clear this up for me. Thanks.

Maybe there are problems with one or more lots of the Wolf primers, since there are so many complaints.
With our action, as long as the spring is 22-24 lbs. and there is .250" of firing pin fall, ignition should be optimum.
Interestingly enough, the only primer failures I've ever had were two Remington 7-1/2 primers out of a box of 1000 about fifteen years ago. I've never had another failure with any other make of primer...although I did catch a Federal primer without the anvil during a reloading session two years ago.

I loaded one GM that turned out not to have a primer cake, just red wax painted on the anvil & cup. Lost me a shoot....although I did catch a Federal primer without the anvil during a reloading session two years ago.
i'll second that, how does a primer scratch a bbl ??
