is it just me ??

I used to think I was just a regular person, but I was born white, which now, whether I like it or not, makes me a racist & responsible for slavery.

I am a fiscal & moral conservative, which by today's standards, makes me a fascist because I plan & support myself.

I went to HS, worked through college, got a degree & have held a job, & am here not because I earned it but because I was advantaged.

I am heterosexual, which according to gay folks, now makes me a homophobe.

I am non-union, which makes me a traitor to the working class & ally of big business.

I am not a Muslim, which now labels me as an infidel.

I believe in the 2nd Amendment, which makes me a member of the vast NRA gun lobby.

I am older than 65 & retired, making me a useless old man who doesn't understand Facebook.

I think & I reason, so I doubt what main stream media tells me, which must make me a reactionary.

I am proud of my heritage & our inclusive American culture, making me a xenophobe.

I value my safety & that of my family, & I appreciate the police & the legal system, making me a right-wing, cop loving extremist.

I believe in hard work, fair play, & fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.

I believe our system guarantees freedom of effort - not freedom of outcome or subsidies which must make me a borderline sociopath.

I believe in the defense & protection of America for & by all citizens, now making me a militant .

I am proud of our flag, what it stands for, & the many who died to let it fly , so I stand & salute during our National Anthem, taking me back where I started - I must be a racist.

Please help me come to terms with the new me because I'm just not sure who I am anymore!

Funny - all of this took place over the last 7 or 8 years!

If all this bigoted nonsense wasn't enough to deal with, now I don't know which restroom to use, & I gotta “ go ” !.

Me three, and I do not live in that country, but by the actions you have described, I must be whatever. It is a different world we live in, or die for, I don't know.

Me four.

In reality it is not a different world. In the warped mind of the people trying to take over the country, at least verbally, it is.

We outnumber them. We outwork them. We work actual jobs and are self supportive. They are leaches living off of us. They don't know actual work. They don't know actual service. They would never make it in the military, and as John Kennedy said:

"A young man who does not have what it takes to perform military service is not likely to have what it takes to make a living. Today's military rejects include tomorrow's hard-core unemployed." John F. Kennedy

Today these people would call Kennedy a "right wing extremist" and NEVER allow him in their political party.

They don't want to be recognized as men if they are males. They don't want to be recognized as women if they are females.

Ultimately they will fail. We can help them along in their failure by pointing out their ignorance. Their reaction to the pointing out of their ignorance will make it clear to all around them just how ridiculous they are.

They can't even make change at a fast food joint...............

We are the silent majority. We should be silent no more. The more truth we point out to them the more of a tantrum they throw, because that has always worked for them. They have no discipline or knowledge because they have never been disciplined or taught. If we are no longer silent, if we speak up and disregard their tantrums, they will fully reveal what folly they believe in, and people will reject them because of the ridiculousness of their behavior and the weakness of their "ideas".

Take care,

Greg

P.S. I just noticed you are in Canada. My impression, right or wrong, is that y'all are further down the path of this nonsense than we are. I think my comments can apply to your country, too. You have a lot of people who reject the nonsense. I think you have a silent majority, too.

The problem is

both our countrys are ruled, mostly , buy city dwellers, people who rent and don't understand liberty, people who think its ok to have 20 gender classes and hate speech laws. The Terrany of the masses is what we all have. AND, we didn't have enough kids!

Retired, I am like you. I have done all the right things. I went through school and college. I have worked for others and I have been self employed. I have known both success and failure. I can say that I have paid all my bills and have never cheated anyone. Today, I don’t feel the need to worry about the mistakened ideas of young inexperienced people or fools. They will either learn or not, either way, it is not my problem.
