Pro- Crono. I like the compactness and portability of it. I also bought the remote switch for it. The switch comes with a 10" cord so that one knows that the unit is were it needs to be.
I am not particularly interested in EXACT data from a crono. I only want to see relative speeds to know roughly where I am at. The rest of it will be apparent on the paper out yonde. I wanted the most portable setup I could find that I could manipulate from the bench. I am satisfied wit my setup.

I have a Oehler mdl 12, that I've had for 20 or so years, a good solid unit. I purchased a mdl 35P some 10yrs., ago and pleased with it as well.
I realize Oehler is not manufacturing these chrono's any longer and I would imagine the gentlemen asking for suggestions may want something currently availiable to him. IMO I think the Pact "Pro" is a desirable chrono to have, it's the only commercial chrono I like as well and maybe even better than my Oehler's.

if you have an ohler why are you asking ? it is considered the standard by which all others are measured. three screens, auto checking of the speed. and a printer, and all on your bench, not down range some where.
having said that and since they are no longer sold to the public, i think the CEDII would be my next choice unless one had $800 for the one sold by neco.
