In the latest Precision Shooting, I see their ad for the new fixed 36x, ay about $1250. Anybody know anything about these??

The add says "unequaled tracking", doesn't mention holding POA 100 percent.

Just curious...........jackie

IOR-Valdada Scopes

Jackie,
I didn't know they had started making a fixed power scope, but I own 3 Valdadas and I am impressed with them. I use a 4-14x50 with a 30mm tube variable with an illuminated mil dot reticle on my main hunting rifle(.257 Weatherby chambered Remington 700). I use the 6-24x50 with a 35mm tube on my Prairie Dog/ VFS gun(30Br). The third one is still new in the box waiting for a donor rifle.:D
I compared the glass/sight picture to my 45 Leupold and the glass looks better on the Valdada. The variables are a bit heavy but I don't know about the fixed power model. I guess I will have to check into them, I like Valdada products. You might want to talk to Rob Vogel at Impact Guns in Utah. He sells a lot of IOR-Valdada products.
Best,
Dan Batko

From what I have seen so far,

It is pretty hard to beat a Brackney/ Leupold Comp setup. Peace of mind, if nothing else, for me.
