Congrat's Bill on the effort to get Air-BR going down under. In the 3rd or far right Pic., are they Lead Colecter's on bottom of Frames? And what's the Lawn for? Just wondering,Good Luck with the upcomming Postal Match.....Franky

Hi Franky,

The 3rd picture is looking back at a small part from target frames on 50m range, they are Electronic Targets but paper can also be used, yes they are the led catchers. We have lawn across most of ranges down here, what do you normally have on the ground ?

The 2nd picture is a small part of the 25m Range mostly used for pistol but we also use it for 25m Air Bench.

Thank's Bill for reply. We have nothing on Ground but Little .30cal Trenches downrange and tiny Lake's everywere.....Franky

Bill,

Some of our ranges allow for shooting across grass, but many are situated in old gravel pits, so have a mix of sand and gravel to shoot across. Grass is many times better as you don't get anywhere near the amount of mirage and reflective heat rising once the sun comes out. I can be brutal. Then, add to that a little breeze and you're good-to-go!

By the way, that's one very nice range. Up here when we shoot under those conditions we refer to it as shooting Indoors.

Good luck my friend,

Dave

Hi Dave,

I know it looks indoors but i assure it is very much outdoors and very tricky on it's day as many Olympic Discipline and World Cup shhooters will attest to.

Bill,
I think this match comes as a surprise to a lot of people here. As far as I know, Steve hasn't set anything up for it. Rick Ingraham, Dan Brown and I are up for the challenge though and will be shooting at the Salem Pistol and Rifle Club on Sunday.
Todd

Mate it's definately on we are shooting Sunday 1st july, rules are LV Air 25m outdoor 3 targets, you guys work out your end, we will list our scores here.

Bill,

With most of our shooters preparing for the World Postal, we would prefer to use those rules during this match, LV or HV rifles to be used at the shooters choice.

Looking for 9 volunteers to shoot together in up to 3 venues.

Hi Steve, We will post our scores Sunday Night there are only about 1 or HV rifles down here so our scores will be using LV class Air Rifles.

Bill / Steve,
Peter Wass and I shot the first Airgun match this past Sat at Capital City in Maine. Only two shooters showed.
We both shot LV class. Can they be used towards a team or Individuals?
If not his next match is July 14. He put pipes in the ground at 25 meters for target frames at all 10 benches.

Paul

Hi Paul,

I will leave that up to Steve as he is the WRABF delegate in the USA for Air Rifle to decide whether he can and if it is the match already held or the next one.
