What a great day at Tomball. Not a Could in the sky, cool, but WINDY. Windy as in 15-25 mph winds going just about in very direction at once. Tomball is tough on a good day, but today was exceptionally challenging.

Ed Bernabeo won the 100 yard, Jackie Schmidt won the 200 yard and the Grand Agg.

This is the first leg of the overall Texas State VFS. The second leg, which will be held at Walker County Benchrest in two weeks, will be a 200/300 yard Grand Agg. The scores combined will will crown the overall Texas State VFS Champion.

Thanks to Match Directors Richard and Dwayne Pullum for running a great Match and awarding some really nice Trophys.

Also, thanks to the Tomball Gun Club for continuing the Benchrest traditions at Tomball.

Hey...Is there a misprint? Your name's on there..twice!

Just kidding with ya. Sounds like a tough day, for sure. You fought to a good finish. Congrats!

Tomball is always a tough place to shoot. Sunday it was tougher than usual. In fact, it was downright brutal!

Thanks to all the Tomball crew for a well run match. You guys do a good job.
It is always enjoyable to spend a day visiting with friends and shooting a match. Winning something is icing on the cake.

See everyone in Huntsville for the second leg of this match.

Joe

Congrats. Jackie for the win.
Joe, nice job on your 2nd place finish.
Based on the aggs. conditions must have been pretty rough. Tomball at its finest!
Good shooting to all of the competitors in difficult conditions.
