Thanks for all the help in setup and take down of the ranges.
Todd in scoring for relay one.
Doug for letting David Lemmo use your rest and bags. You taught him way to much!!! Great shooting David.
Mark for all the goodies and bringing David G's loaner .25 for us to shoot and look at. That alone was worth coming to the shoot.

Al, found out the new JSB 18.1 are not like his old lot that shot a 250 on his last card.
Dan was using his new camera thru the scope while shooting. Hope he posts some.

See you in JAN. Hope to get the STEYR shooting. I know 15 pellets it doesn't like. Ordered some 13 gr JSB tonight.

Thanks Paul .Why wood a man travel 7hr. to shoot 45 min. ? To be with 10-11 air rifle bench rest shooters . To talk of regulators ,bell curves , pellets , shooting and life in general . This is what air rifle bench rest is all about . Thanks to all and see you down the rood . Rick

The first video sums up how I shot. Pleas excuse the the shakiness, I was holding the camera with one hand and pulling the trigger with the other.

Paul, Thanks again for all your hard work and generosity. Also the world class save you made when the new Steyr took a leap off your table was amazing ( and highly motivated lol ). Dan thanks for the loan of the twin, if I stop using my thumbs to load it (pellet backwards, but it makes a nice big clean hole to score that way) a 250 is still in there! Good seeing Rick again and I think your right it's mostly about the bench racing! It was a pleasure to meet Todd Banks a worthy World champion, and new comer Dave, nice shooting. To all the regulars and everybody in BR Land, Have a " VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS " AND " THE BEST OF NEW YEARS ". See you on the 7th.

Paul,
Thanks for running the Holbrook matches. It's a long ride but worth it! It was nice to meet Daniel, Dave and Mark. Something tells me we might be seeing more of Dave. He shot extremely well for his first match and with a borrowed rifle, too. Rick, thanks for letting me use the EV-2 again! That thing is amazing and I can't wait till mine arrives on Thursday.
Looking forward to the next match!
Todd

I'm sorry now that I didn't drive down. I wanted to but I have to prepare to bail out of here :(.

Good shooting scores and X counts, guys. I'm interested in Paul's Steyr HP. Still looking for the right pellets? One of our shooters has one in .22 caliber coming. Hopes to compete with the Feinwekbaus.

Steyr lg 110 hp

Mike,
I received my Steyr LG 110 in .177 fri around 4:00 PM. Cleaned it and put a Weaver T-36 with BLK mount.
I had no intention of shooting it Sat.
We had a New shooter show up so I let him use my AA S-400 MPR and he had a GREAT time. I was going to shoot Todd's CZ-200 but Shot the Steyr. Every 4-8 shots would have a POI change. Hopefully it's a bad scope, mount, O-ring. Have not had time to work on it yet. Will let you know what I find out. I have 8-10 barrels that will fit it.

Paul

Might just be that it needs some shooting to settle in, being brand new.
We shot a couple targets last Sat. There were 4 of us, 2 shooting 9002/8002 Annies, 2 of us Walther FT Dominators. I do not know everyone's scores, I managed a pair of 247's with my Walther, ( it has shot some 250's inside and outside last year). We do have a bit of a mirage problem with the furnace, but a couple of mine seemed a lot further out than I could account for just then. Traced it down to the front plate I have attached. There is every so slight wobble in it, if I do not pull it down in to the bag I will get an errant shot, not discounting the driver or pellets either. ( likely the driver, eh?)

Blades,
That's some good investigation. Though I always cinch mine into the bag, I didn't realize the importance of doing so.
Mike

Thanks Paul,
Pilkington sent the wrong rifle (40 joule vs 28). The .22 caliber was correct but now waiting to see when they will have the lower ft lb or send a different regulator. I'll be interested to watch your progress.
