RCGC will be hosting our next score match of the year on Saturday, June 25th. This match will be at 200 yards.

Targets are scored using a reticle, so there is no caliber advantage. Classes are available for Benchrest, Modified, and factory rifles.

Season trophies will be awarded at our last match in October.

You do NOT have to be a club member to participate.

See additional info on the club and matches here: http://www.rcgc.club/shooting-venues/centerfire-rifle/

Come on out and join the fun!!

Pete, they use a reticle that scores a 6 or 22 as a 30. It has a ring to center the bullet hole and an outer ring that represents a 30-caliber hole. If the outer ring touches the x it is scored an x even thou the actual bullet hole doesn't on a 22 or 6 mm. Similar to UBR except they use a reticle instead of 3 different targets.

We had a decent turnout with 18 shooters 17 VFS and ! Mod. It was a pretty day with somewhat tricky conditions, mirage and mixed winds, it was hard to get a true red or green condition, the front half was almost always opposite of the backend. Zack Darnell won VFS with a fine 262-13, Ken Eades was 2nd w/ 261-11, Roy Darnell was 3rd w/ 260-10. Sam Hardy won Modified w/ 247-3. Congrats to the winners and Thanks to all that came out and to all that helped make the match happen. Roy is having an NBRSA LV/HV group match next month, July, 16th and 17th, come support the match and his efforts to keep group alive in the SE region.

Thanks Steve
