Fairfax was in rare form today, she collected some retribution for the excellent conditions she gave us for the Va states last month. We had an excellent turnout with 35 guns, 31 in VFS 3 custom and 1 factory. There was only 4 left clean after match 1 and after match 4 I was the only one left, I just kept hanging on as the rest self destructed and let me take the win( blind hogs and acorns thing ya know)Jerry Reisdorf's wife fed us a great lunch of chilli and cornbread, it looked like the buffet line in the clubhouse. Herb won lv and the 2 gun agg with some good shooting. Thanks to all who helped with the match, See ya at KC's on the 6th and next month at Fairfax. Steve

Way to go Steve

Good shooting in tough conditions. It remains a POINTS game, aye? Sorry I couldn't join you folks but it's a bit of a hike! Wish you the best for the rest of the series. Pete

2-Gun

I just realized that I forgot to mention the 2-Gun winners... I'll edit the first posting of this thread.

Do we know the rest of the FR&GC Winter League dates for January and beyond? I'm trying to schedule some other activites around them!

I believe the next FR&GC Match is on 14-Dec, but I'm sure someone will speak up if I'm wrong...

Tom

Another big thanks for the food, chili was excellent....I won't tell mama.

Adrian......where's my dime? :D

Thanks Pete and Cuz'n Roy, The blind hogs got to eat Sun, that cold wind cooled off some of those hot barrels and gave me a chance. It's been pretty slim pick'ins this year for me, I have not shot well at all, hope it gets better for next year. Pete its 3 hr for me but you definetly would have a haul, have a good winter. Steve.
