My lathe hasn't been run for several months.

Any good advice on how to bring it back to life without damage ?

Will appreciate any replies.

owners manual for lube points.
do them all
check all the oil levels
rotate by hand in several gears.
start and use one function at a time, watching for hiccups.
i would not expect problems other than noise from belts. they have likely taken some
"shape" and may be noisy till they flex for a while.

Unless It's been setting out in the driveway, Just turn it on and push the start button. If it was properly cleaned and wiped down after the last use, just run it. Its not a helicopter.
