Rebating BR-case rims

Have the bolt face changed. Of all the actions I made only 6 were ppc. a good fit on a .308 bolt face will work just fine on a ppc. Oh ya I ended up opening 2 of the 6.

Kelbly's gave me a very attractive quote on opening the bolt. I'll have it on the way to them in the morning.

EDIT: I think I'm going to a match this weekend, so I guess I'll be keeping my bolt for a bit...

OTOH, I sure would like to have a lathe to turn necks in and do other minor tasks. I'll look into a small one. Are there any recommended other than the Atlas?

I'd eventually like to chamber my own barrels, but the play money account will have to build up significantly before I'll by that kind of lathe.

I opted not to open my Hall

because I felt the resale value of the rifle might be compromized by doing so. I felt a 6 PPC bolt face in my particular rifle might be more "Pure" somehow when I want to find another owner for it.
