Powder Puff

Looks as though I'm being made fun of, making the shoot fair for everyone.

So, let's subsidize every shooter, so every shooter can shoot two guns (or 3) at every match. Raise the Score entry fee by $100 per day, then at the end of the season, redistribute the money to each to fund a new gun over the winter.

Think of the economic growth, what with all those actions, barrels, scopes, etc., not to mention the gunsmithing trade! WOW! Bullets, powder, primers! Oh, not many primers around right now, better stock up when you can. Somebody will come up with the idea of outsourcing to China for something.... maybe primers! Better check 'em for lead though, the exposure on the line could be grounds for a lawsuit. But then the attorneys will benefit.......and on it goes.......

Adrain you ole pot stirrer.
Let's limit how many barrels you can have while we're at it. No sense allowing those rich folks 50 barrels to choose from:eek:. I never thought I'd see the day but Hillary Clinton has come to Benchrest. "Let's make it fair for everyone."

Any time a rule is changed, someone benefits.

To be fair, an impact statement should be prepared analyzing the percieved impact. It would be nice to look at the data rather than hyperbole.

Are you kidding me? DAVE APPLE calling someone else a Pot Stirrer? :p

No pot stirrer here. I'm too busy adjusting my tuner to shoot two guns :).

Besides, shooting 2 guns is for PROFESSIONALS like Hal Drake. Me, I'm just a hobo on the highway to heaven.

So if

we take it to extremes I can have my own registered match all by myself.

Group or Score

we take it to extremes I can have my own registered match all by myself.

If you are shooting group, a 2 sentence safety meeting can be held. If it's Score...well then, you will need the 15 minute full monty King James version .

It never hurts anything

to discuss the pros and cons of any subject. There is never any need or sense in getting nasty during the discussion. What makes IBS DIFFERENT is the process to have issues like this discussed and acted on by it's members. This is a good thing so why not discuss it in a manor that will make it easier to make a decision, in the end. As I have aged I have found that given credible information, I am able to change my mind sometimes.

With regard to fairness; the whole idea of haveing a standard set of rules is to make competition fair. This issue is simply a part of that process. While we're at it, how about we standardize the color of windflags? That discussion will make the other one pale in comparison.
