New and looking for information

I have joined this page as I know next to nothing about this style of shooting. I live on the plains of Montana and do a lot more varmint, predator, and long range shooting. I have acquired a very nice custom built benchrest rifle in 6mm ppc and components. Rifle was built by Jim Borden on a nesika action. Rifle is beautiful but just not a caliber I'm interested in. Trying to decide if I should rebarel to a caliber of use to me. Or my thought is that would likely ruin value so I should sell it as is with components. Then use money towards guns of use to me. I just have no idea of how to fi d a value or where to try and sell. Any advice or help is sincerely appreciated. For some reason I can only get screenshot to load. Thank you i will definitely use the classifieds if i decide for sure to sell. For now I am in need of help to figure out a remotely close true value. I can't seem to find much information about value and nothing for sale. There is not people in the little town of 350 people i live near into benchrest shooting. Nor is there any nearby benchrest competition near by. So asking for local help in value has turned up nothing. Is it realistically worth like $3000 or do i start closer to the $6000 like the advertised lester bruno rifles. I don't want to come on asking a price that gets me laughed out of the country. But I don't want to give it away and be laughed at in secret. I want information to make a fair decision of value.

The ppc has a unique size bolt face.Rebarreling to a caibar you can use is not a option unless you open up the bolt face.

I have visited with my gunsmith about the rebarel. Which i have full confidence in what he says and does after 20 years of using hus services and having custom rifles built. I'm just concerned about value for the most part.
 
there is short range bench rest in montana, do some research. the rifle will retain more value if sold to a br shooters. re chambering it a waste of quality. yes your gunsmith will do most anything to make money,, his job. not a good decision,

Thank you. Your thought of rebarel is what I was thinking. I also appreciate your lead to investigate into the short range bench rest in Montana
