"Mitchell Mausers", need info

Jackie, I had a Mitchel. It had nicely refinished metal and a new GI stock. It had a good bore and was a good shooter except that it needed a taller front sight. I paid $169 for it and sold it for $200. Only reason I sold it was I had bought a case of turks. Mitchel has advertised several types of Mauser at different prices. The guys who are mad at them seem to be the collectors. Mitchel has been walking on sacred ground.

P.S. I had a couple of Yugos and they were real good shooters. I sold one to a good friend who wanted a 250 yard deer rifle but at low cost. I bent the bolt handle and mounted a scope and scope safety and it would shoot 2" at 100 yds.

Jackie, a friend of mine that shoots at our range bought a Mitchell Mauser. It's shoots well and he was happy enough with it that he bought another. I've seen them both and was surprised by how nice they are.
