Looking to purchase 1st air rifle

Hi,

I shoot ARA and PSL rimfire and would like to play with air rifles a little. My question is what should I get?
I'm looking to shoot off a bench with my rest outdoors mostly. I want a rifle that is accurate, maybe close to my rimfires. I don't mind to spend the money needed but don't want to waist it either.

If you want a Top of the Line Gun, the AA EV2 is the air rifle that dominated the BR World Championships in the LV Class in South Carolina in 2011.

Would you buy new or used,and is it at its best right out of the box or need extras and special tuning.

The EV2 is the rifle to beat in the 12 ft/lb class . Very few modification and you are set to go . In 20 ft/lb I wood say a Dawson with a good barrel . The actions and triggers should be ready soon and if you are a rim fire shooter you could have a barrel that might work . Good luck and feel free to get a hold of me if you have ??
