Jackies 250-25x Targets VFS Louisiana State Championship

Speedy made some real nice 110g bullets way back then. I bought a bunch of them from Bob White years ago; actually, I still have a few of them. They shot great in the 15 twist, I don't see any reason they wouldn't in a 1-14. I wonder who got his dies?

That statement was made, to me at least, right at the onset of the slow twist revolution...no pun intended. His distain for change was obvious. He must be the quintessential reactionary??

One aspect to consider with a fast twist is if the bullet does not have a true centerline of mass distribution will spinning it at higher RPM cause more flyers, or a larger average groups? Theory only as I don't know of anyone doing any empirical testing on this.

With all due respect to Speedy, I think that quote was made before the onslaught of the 17-18 twist 30BR and the super accurate 112-118 grn bullets that are available today.............jackie
