Like Mike Ross and Jeffrey Madison, I’ve also been troubled by the assumption that being polite and responding to Mr. Taylor’s test has been perceived to mean we somehow accept it as valid. Having some expertise in both analysis and testing methodology, I and most others haven’t rebutted Mr. Taylor’s results because, at present, without the methodology and targets….there’s simply nothing to rebut “or” agree on.
I can also state with some confidence that the statistical analysis of his data will be meaningless “if” the test methodology is flawed or incorrect relative to the proper way to index for bore curve. I hope it’s not because I would love to see this much data on a subject so many have an interest in, but I have my reservations. There is already some confusion in this thread about what indexing is and isn’t.
