Full Length die with a shoulder/neck bushing

No, John can't do anything about your neck...... this is why I said you're stuck with it.

I use a body die and a collet neck sizer.... . But it doesn't make sense from a FF case to work a neck clearance of less than what you say.... .003.

IF you're interested the 3rd of a 3-part video series just broke on my youtube channel in which I explain some of these items of WHY and HOW regarding sizing and fit

This was all recorded months ago and isn't in any way a 'response' to anything but it might help explain my view regarding fit of dies to chamber.

(In any event I do have many other vids on the subject)

I am assuming the neck will not expand enough to have the proper clearance, been awhile since I measured a neck after fire forming. IF you want to explain, WHY I'm stuck with it, other than what I assume, then have at it, IF not then take care. You mentioned in your part 3 video about a neck not fitted to the chamber neck area expanding and the bullet is not firing into the barrel straight causing vibrations. What's the big deal about a factory chamber verses a custom chamber? I was told over the years, that they vary. If you lack charity with your knowledge then it means nothing to me.

Again..... I'm Sorry...... your PM's reminded me that we've been down this road before you and I

I tend to treat each day as a new discussion and oft forget old resentments.

I apologize for joining this discussion, please don't PM me any more

Sorry you feel that way Al.... I could learn something if you're willing to explain it. The 3rd part video you mentioned the neck expanding too much and the neck of the chamber not supporting the neck of the case and the bullet causing vibrations. Why would Whidden make dies to control that on a custom chamber but not a factory ? I think it's a legitimate question, don't you ?
