well, the only thing I have against "yankees" is the baseball-playing(and I DO mean "playing" -types. shooting is a sport, boxing is a sport, baseball is a GAME.

You know, I had a hard time accepting the New York Yankees as a good baseball team as a kid. That was the first time I ever heard the word Yankee alone without a common adjective before it. Most Yankees are OK. Many have become good friends of mine. We are more alike than we are different.

it's funny, the more time i spend"down here" the more my yankee friends find me ...well, different. i hear a lot about "gun-totin' " etc...wait, is gun-totin' WRONG?! i had guns up there, too! they probably would have left the G on the totin' if i had stayed...
