Really, I know a couple of the best .22 rimfire smiths alive, including world record rifles and they use barrels nowhere near .825" just as an FYI.

well tim, I was just trying to avoid a name and end up in a pi**ing contest, if you get my drift. also Tim when the tuner was invented and a patent filed in 1957 I wasn't involved with tuners, soooooooo whoever came up with the .825 straight contour may have had a hand in the fate of lapua. lol
