12fpe RAW TM1000

Thanks to all..
According to Dan's instructions and memory, a little less than one turn "out" should get from where it is now to around Paul's setting.

OK. I see how it works; it's very much like the FX Elite's reg.

Will do Bill.

On the reg setting .... as above.

What I did though is to get a much bigger face dail guage and with the correct adaptors fit this to the bottom of the action for accurate adjusting.

Just ordered a TM1000 and plan to dial it down to 12fpe (may need to adjust the regulator). Is there a blanking screw on the bottom of the action that you can fit the gauge into? I haven't seen a TM1000 stripped down. What size adapters and threads were needed?

Thanks,
Casey

Hi Casey,

Just fitted a gauge to my TM.

Yes, there is a blanking plug on the bottom of the action (1/4” BSP). So you will need a ¼ BSP male to 1/8 female adapter and a gauge, that’s it.

Pressure set by RAW for my 12ft/lb .177 was 95 bar.

Thank you Brian...good to know. Is the BSP hole in the action straight thread or tapered? If I decide I need to do this it will be extremely helpful to have that gauge. Do you put yours on just for testing or leave it on all the time and inlet the stock for it?

WOW< Nice Outfit!

I received my 12fpe TM1000 (.177 cal) barrelled action (left hand) end of December. I was very eager to get this rifle competition ready – will compete with it in the Light Varmint Class at the World Cup in August (Czech Republic).

I made a dedicated benchrest stock from Cherry Wood (stock design and weight of the wood to meet the LV limit). I laminated 5 x 15mm thick pieces of wood for maximum stability and painted the final product. Set the regulator pressure at 90bar and balanced the hammer spring tension to this setting. Lastly set the trigger to my liking.

The attached target was shot outdoors in good conditions (not perfect but good). The high x count gave me the most pleasure - I am convinced this rifle will shoot full scores and even higher x count in perfect conditions.

Am I happy? ........... EXTREMELY, I have a smile on my face every time I squeeze the trigger – in my opinion you can’t ask for more than that.

After looking at your target card picture I think I may as well stay home! :)

Pete we can look at that wonderful card 2 ways...

1. He missed one

2. Plzen has plenty of bars to drink our sorrows away

I'm going with #1 and will revert to #2 if needed

New BM500LW 12 ft lb

Just received my demo rifle. I will call her Blonde. One 249 15x target first match. Out of the box no tuning.

The popular wood stock with a Weaver 36X makes weight easily.
