what are you wantimg to adjust? did you call the owner(clay)not the original owner,but a first class person,i sent him one recently that the owner had lost the springs and had it in really bad out of adjustment ,told him to send the bill back with it,he sent a brand new one no charge

brass I have 72 once fired frontier +p in 257 Roberts if you don't find anything,i would be willing to sell,roberts is as hard to find as 6mm

Roy,sounds like you have no spring tension,the sear and connector bar are just setting against each other,metal to metal,probably need to get an aftermarket pull wt. spring,pretty common problem with newer rem. triggers,sometime taking the trigger apart and polishing everything will...

i don't think the pt&g come with the firing pin assembly,you can use a 700 bolt,couple on gunbroker both complete bolts $150.00,will need to get them headspaced to your barrel,they will usually go in the raceway,but maybe not headspace

Woodhunter,did you make the remington action wrench,that is really nice,i have a wheeler with the recess for the recoil lug,but can't find the 1/4 bolts strong enough,they keep shearing on really tight barrels as the lug recess has just enough side clearance to move a bit.I got the barrel...

Barrel is a throwaway,so will try the lathe,already tried to move the recoil lug with a hard blow and it didn't move.First one i couldn't move with the wood bushings,but don't mess with old military actions. thanks for the tips

This is the tightest one i have very found,came off the texas coast,maybe a bit of salt water?i have a good external wrench that goes over the action,a long cheater pipe lots of resin and still can't move it.Split my blocks in the vise,would heat,not red hot help? Thanks for any suggestions,terry
