    25-06 I have loaded and snot many more than I let my wife know!! You may have a tight bore or chmamber as 54 grains of rl-22 or h-4831s/c isn't a super hot load in most I have shot,but I have not had great accuracy with the 110 accu-bond in 257 Roberts, 25-06 or 257 Ackley most all will shot...

    date made Are you sure that first letter is a u maybe an o? as that u isn't a good letter for the month,but the y shows 1974 which would probably be correct with no letter in front of your ser. number.

    i don't think the pt&g come with the firing pin assembly,you can use a 700 bolt,couple on gunbroker both complete bolts $150.00,will need to get them headspaced to your barrel,they will usually go in the raceway,but maybe not headspace

    Woodhunter,did you make the remington action wrench,that is really nice,i have a wheeler with the recess for the recoil lug,but can't find the 1/4 bolts strong enough,they keep shearing on really tight barrels as the lug recess has just enough side clearance to move a bit.I got the barrel...

    Barrel is a throwaway,so will try the lathe,already tried to move the recoil lug with a hard blow and it didn't move.First one i couldn't move with the wood bushings,but don't mess with old military actions. thanks for the tips

    This is the tightest one i have very found,came off the texas coast,maybe a bit of salt water?i have a good external wrench that goes over the action,a long cheater pipe lots of resin and still can't move it.Split my blocks in the vise,would heat,not red hot help?
