Glad it worked out for you Pete. As far as freight goes, I try to ask a friend or 2 if they need anything then we split the freight.

The same thing happened to me. I just let it heat up slowly and you can see the water start to boil off. Heat it up to fast, it will boil over and make a big mess. Definitely do it out side. Since then I let the pot cool completely and the salt puck pops right out, then store it in a ziploc bag.

I agree 100%. I have a set of his .187 44" rimfire rods. I like them so well I wanted to get a set of .203 dia. 22 cal. and up for my ppc. I ended up trying a couple 42" Pro Shot rods instead and like them as well.

I have a Borden mod. B drop port and love it. When I load it's kind of a in and forward motion to insure I dont set the round to far back on the ramp, because it can fall butt first right down the port. Happened twice in the last 2 years. The only time a loaded round can't fall down the port is...
