After one to two inches of rain, it was a damp and very shootable start to the day.
In the Heavy 100 it was
1. Jerry Wick .1504
2. Harry Rowold .1830
3. The Dean Guy Eckstrom .1970
In the Unlimited 100, it was
1. Jim Carstensen .1164 (range measured world record)
2. Jim Schmidt .1456
3. Cecil Peterson .220
The HV 200 was
1. JJ Coe .2258 (a monster blow out win)
2. The Dean Guy Eckstrom .2891
3. Jerry Wick .3209
Unlimited 200
1. Jim Schmidt .2488
2. Cecil Peterson .2596
3. Jim Carstensen .2725
The HV grand was
1. JJ Coe .2130
2. Jerry Wick .2357
3.The Dean guy .2430
The UL grand was
1. Jim Carstensen .1945
2. Jim Schmidt .1972
3. Cecil Peterson .2398
Conditions worsened considerably for the 200 yard contest.
As a side note, it was a rough start of the day for me, leaving my primer seater at home (being the only one shooting a BR based case), not so easy to borrow. Thanks to Jerry King for running back home to bail me out. Then on the second match I shot my "first" group on the sighter, something I've heard other UL shooters have done. I was left with 5 shells consisting of 3 different loads to shoot my "second" group on the record. It did all work out.
