    Remington X Mark Pro Triggers

This thread has run its course. Shush. The orderly will be in shortly with your Jell-O. It's a shame you never went to school and learned to read.

    Remington X Mark Pro Triggers

There is nothing to listen to. I did not ask for advice. There is no wisdom here. I asked a simple question, but either senility or boredom spun this in a different direction. Let's recap. "My question: I cannot seem to find exactly what they did to make things right after the lawsuit. Was it...

    Remington X Mark Pro Triggers

Are you feeling alright? Take a pill and relax. All is well. It was a simple question. Don't read into it. Don't overthink it. And besides, it's not my decision to make.

    Remington X Mark Pro Triggers

Thanks for responding. As I said in my first post, money is a concern for him. Originally, I told him to buy a Tikka to be able to shoot better out of the box, but he cannot afford it. Like many others, he will have to learn as he progresses and buy add-ons as funds allow. Cheers.

    Remington X Mark Pro Triggers

Thanks for responding. I'm not quite sure how my friend wishes to proceed, but he will be able to pick up a competent starter rifle and replace things later. I hope they did something to it. I remember my experience with the XMP wasn't very good. It's hard to remain neutral when your...

    Remington X Mark Pro Triggers

This is a Remington 700 question. A good friend at my gun club asked about a target rifle with an XMP trigger. I told him was that no one would use the factory trigger in a target rifle. Money is a concern for him, so I said get the rifle - you can always change the trigger down the road. I...

No, I am not writing a book about Benchrest 222 Remington. :p I'd have to chase down books and talk to lots of people. I am putting together something varmint related though. I will attempt to find that article from Rifle magazine. Thanks. Twenty six years ago, my wife bought one for me. It...

    222 Rem Records

virg, you click Google and tell me what you find. I asked about records it holds. The Google results speak in generalities. "It holds all kinds of records." and "It still is a record holder.", etc. Benchrest Central would be the place to find out stuff like this, don't you...

    222 Rem Records

Can anyone tell me if the 222 Rem still holds any records? Could someone point me in the direction of a book or site that can answer some questions about this cartridge? I'm after what records it held and for how long. General knowledge stuff. Thanks for the help. Steve

    135 Grain 308 Diameter Bullets

Sierra has chosen to produce these using a BT. That's unusual considering that their press release mentioned short ranges. I wonder if they are hoping for the Garand people. I'm trying to figure out why they would even bother.

    135 Grain 308 Diameter Bullets

I see that Sierra has just started producing this weight. Is anyone using it? Sierra's thinking is that it might be popular for 100/200 yards. Can anyone pass along some stories? Steve :)
