With the release of the Alpha 30 BR cases, the day of the drudgery of making cases and chasing the Dreaded Doughnuts can finally be behind us. If the cases are as good as the 6 BR cases have been, we can all have no turn reamers made and just shoot. Never thought I would live to see this day. Pete

I may have a die at home I will give you. I won't be back for about a month if you want to wait. It wouldn't be a big job to cut a FL 308 die off to fit what you have. Again, I have a standard body die at home I won't be using. ( In Florida for the winter)

I wonder how many scopes for a minimum run March would be willing to make in 6X? I once saw an ad for a March small Variable light enough with small dot and 1/8" clicks with a big discontinued banner across it so they have made some in the past it might seem.

Alex Wheeler's method is the Gold Standard, IMHO. It leaves very little if anything to supposition such as how square the marks are or how faint the dots are. Taking our judgment out of mechanical processes is a leap forward.

There are folks around who can and do slug and lap barrels to make them shoot like hummers. So the question comes, has anyone ever slugged a Hummer and if so, how did it compare to the usual barrel?

Knowledge continues to be learned. Folks continue to scientifically find out stuff, folks continue to shoot long strings of shot to prove stuff. Th LD community has given us a lot over the last few years. Also, engineers, more of them are involved now, this hasn't hurt anything. :)
