If you have not yet purchased a rifle Id recommend shooting one before buying. There are lots of shooters and I suspect most gun sellers that will let you shoot a match/few targets before buying.

I think all clubs should have a couple of "Shoot what you got" matches every season. It needs to be highly publicized and each shooter should have to drag or get 2 others there-no matter how he/she gets em there. No high end guns allowed those matches, bulk box ammo only.

Clean when the accuracy drops off.. Dimpling most have not tried-and some RF shooting disclipines prohibit along with 'adjusting' (adding/removing) lube. I have been using Gunzilla as a solvent now for 3 yrs or so. Wirks great. Wet patch, maybe brush, couple drys. If storing, like now (winter)...

Try a higher stool or cushion the one you are now using. An old boat cushion works fine.
