    Bukys T.S.I Tuner Pix

Thanks for the pics. I get the weight thing and the split ring for clamping but I am not sure about the rubber? Is it for a better grip of the tuner or is it supposed to dampen? Just wondering out loud because Gene has forgotten more about accuracy shooting than I will ever know. I tend to...

No problem Sam Glad I could help....too bad I had that weak spring. I plan to take the rifle out this weekend and see if the spacer helps. It was good to see you Duke's and tell Jason he did a great job pointing that ugly orange gun;) He is going to be one tough competitor. Kris

    g 709 grizzly lathe

We can cut a 18 thread if the half nuts stay closed...thanks Ian. We used just number one on the thread dial when testing the cuts at 18 TPI - thanks for the suggestion Jerry. I am assuming either the diagram is incorrect for the change gears for a 18 TPI or we have the incorrect gear on the...

    g 709 grizzly lathe

I have a friend that just purchased the same G0709 Grizzly lathe. I find the machine a great value for the money. We are having the exact same issue threading. If you set the machine up using the gears on the chart and thread at 16 TPI where you can use 1-8 on the thread dial it works great...

    Remington 700 Bottom Metal

The short version is no they are not the same. With a little modification you can get the bottom metal from a detachable magazine to fit but you have to also cut the sides of the stock to allow for the magazine release. The bigger issue is with the action itself. A standard ADL/BDL action is...

    New Braunfels VFS match

New Braunfels hosted our first registered VFS score match today. We had 19 shooters show up and face the Dietzville wind and mirage. It started out slightly overcast with mild winds working up to sunny, hot, and enough mirage to drown the rings right off the targets. In the late afternoon our...

    Fore end of stock

stock taper I have a benchrest stock that is also tapered on the forend. It drove me so crazy I restocked the rifle. It was a bruno/mcmillan. Otherwise I liked the stock but could not live with the taper. Pushing the stock up after a shot it would "grab" in the front bag. I had to use a...
