Well I did it. I used the iron first and was able to get two of the three set screws out. Temp was around 200f. The last screw required a little more heat so I used the heat gun. There is some clean up to do but the risky business is over. Thanks for the help guys. Dan

Oh yeah, it will be depressurized. The side lever block has also been glued into the action. Looks like a screw broke off and instead of fixing it proper they used epoxy. I can't believe anyone would do such a thing. Dan

I have a difficult problem. A friend of mine bought this air gun and the previous owner glued the barrel in the action. The problem is when he glued it he didn't align it properly and the air transfer port doesn't line up correctly. To make a long story short this causes gun to get about 50-60...

The pressures listed are tank pressures, there is a regulator in the gun. If the regulator was set at an improper pressure the average velocity of the three strings would be much different. DAn

Here are three 10 shot strings shot at 1700, 2250, and 3000psi fills. That was with a customer's TM 1000, JSB heavies in .177. If anything the reg may be set a touch high, but when the averages are this close trying to improve them is a waste of time. Dan

It is .22 cal, 1:17 twist. That is the oring that you see in the thimble. The barrel stops before the transfer port. The thimble guides the pellet into the lead. It can be rotated freely, I recommend using loctite once you determine the best position. You will need a torch to break it free after...
