John, Lee auto primer...great design, putrid execution in materials and tolerances imho. Also, had a friend use his with Federal primers(at the time they said not to) and it blew up in his hand with a near full tray of primers in the tool. Nasty. I use a K&M cause they are 1/3rd a Sinclair...

I have two K&M tools. Had a Sinclair. Well made but didn't like the locking, unlocking of the shell in the holder design. Love my K&M's at about 1/3rd the price.

The twist number stamped on the breech end can be difficult to see if the lighting is not good and depending on your age! :)

the comments about Norma brass being smaller in the web than Laupa are about the old Norma brass...made years ago and perhaps up until recently for all I know just prior to the intro of the new stuff. It was definitely smaller in the web area and Laupa would not fit a chamber made with a reamer...

BTW, since score is on a test basis, I presume there are no records being established at this time? The 500-32X is a pretty good score agg X count!

Randy, I have to agree with you...that H4198 is just so consistent from barrel to barrel. It does seem to be the right stuff, tho other powders work ok. I have some RL7 I bought from Pete that I want to try. What is your experience with this ball powder in hot weather? I sure does meter well...

Well, not claiming to be an early pioneer, but began shooting it 10-11 years ago in IBS score here in Maine. It was phenomenally accurate then and still is IF one finds the right powder, bullet, seating depth combo. I have done ok with it and am happy to see many of the score shooting naysayers...

Great design, terrible execution. THey are junk as made. And follow their instructions...do NOT use Federal primers.

Had a Sinclair. Nice, very well made unit. I hated having to turn the top to lock the shell in and then having to unlock it. Sold it. Have 2 KM's just put the shell in the holder and press the lever. The sliding collar rises to lock the shell in place while the primer seats. Top of the line unit.

One of the things Jackie Schmidt said he didn't do was clean for the entire 100 yard agg. Without going back and looking my memory tells me he shot an .093X for the last group.
