Got Gadgets?

Did I mention I would shoot with no neck tension....just stick the bullet in with my fingers....

I think I see where this is leading now. I've seen Wilbur and Tommy McKee shoot "off the powder".

Mickey's right guys--be careful now ya' hear!!

Is it a shriner's show or at the civic center? What time will y'all be there?

I do not know. Jeff has the info and he did not get in from Charlotte last night as planned, he will be in this pm. As soon as I find out what the plan is I will call either you or Jim.

Mickey,

So obviously you didn't get the Lustr'ous Potentate reference :D

I'm joking wit'cha Mick....the mad-face didn't really mean mad :D

I did catch it and thought it very clever. I didn't make light of it because you never know when a Shriner is reading something and takes his membership in the Shriners very seriously. I just didn't want to run the risk of offending someone unintentionally.

Story: When Ray Stevens brought out his record spoof of the Shrine Convention he was the Illustrious Potentate. Later on I went to a gun show at the Shrine Temple in Montgomery and when Dorothy came to pick me up she saw the picture of The Illustrious Potentate on the wall and broke out laughing saying, "I thought that was a joke! I didn't know there really was one!"

I was never a Mason hence knew nothing about the Shriners so we had no exposure to the organization. I did catch it, though.

Poor Wilbur

He sometimes gets on a Mint Julip kick that lasts for days..........could this be a relapse? The apples aren't ripe yet. (his uncle was a Winesap)

Actually, I would never bet against Wilbur...........especially when HE asked for the bet!

OK, we'll use my rifle..

I suppose it doesn't make much difference if we shoot fours instead of ones/twos.

I'm all in and waitin' on somebody to call or fold. Mickey said his range is available.

I can't imagine anyone who'd bet ag'inst The Wilbur on this one, I can take rounds right out of most all of my rifles, poke out the primer with a punch and reload by just seating the bullet back in the case with my fingers or a hand die or most of the time I just get the bullet started and let the rifle seat it........... and they'll shoot as well as ANYTHING on earth for several rounds until they get tight.

I fireformed a bunch of cases this way 2 Sat's ago....never DID touch a sizing die for three reloads. They were "perfect" after the third firing and could have gone 3-4 more with greased lugs.

Nawwwww, Wilbur'd kick my sorry butt to the CURB with my own rifle and 200yds...

LOL
