looking to buy a Bore scope

+1 This is the kit I have. I recommend getting a kit with the angled eyepiece. I can't imagine not having it though I've heard some here say it's not an issue.

AIM - Blakely, GA. F-Class Shoots

Been once to the 1000 yard shoot. Beautiful place, cabins to rent. Something for about every discipline. Now if I can just get the discs in my neck to cooperate so I can shoot prone, I will go back. Anyone interested can contact Stan Ellis at sellis@aimacademyga.com. He is the match director.

1000 yard range in north central Florida?

Don, yes Pearson is a great place to shoot. I've been shooting there every match since August last year. I wouldn't miss it. The cover over the benches has been great. It was a needed and welcome addition. The entrance fee is still $30 for the match, and the range is free to use when a match...

1000 yard range in north central Florida?

There's a 1000 yard range 3 hours from you in Blakely, Ga. at the American International Marksmanship Academy. They also have a 2400 meter unknown distance range there too. http://www.marksmanshipacademy.com/ There is also an 800 yard range located at Parkers Gunshop just outside Pearson, Ga...

    Hand held diesel engine

I have the same doubts. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing feat what this guy has done. But I doubt it's running on diesel. I can't see how he has the compression ratio high enough to produce the heat to combust the diesel plus I see no fuel delivery system on the engine. A diesel will take...

    Ruger #1 not firing

Been years since I've been in a No. 1 but I believe there is a sear spring. May want to check that to make sure it's pushing the sear against the hammer to engage the sear notch. If it's broken or has a different or cut spring, this could be part of the problem.

    Ruger #1 not firing

+1. Those #1's have a pretty healthy sear engagement. Sounds like someone has worked on yours. How light is the trigger on it?

    what dies Cooper 6mm BR?

If you are using unturned Lapua brass then your loaded round should be measuring in the .272" range. This is considered a "no turn neck" thickness. I don't understand why your loaded rounds are measuring .266" if you haven't neck turned. Did you buy this brass new? What are you measuring the...

Wilbur...I need help on the classifieds...

Try clicking on the compatibility view button on the top of your IE page, next to the reload button and see if that cures your problem. I've had an issue with windows 7 and newer browser that was cured by clicking that button. It's worth a try.....

    Sure name in the forum?

Gee Wilbur, reckon you could start another site? Maybe one where you can only use nicknames. Best of both worlds. Everyone's happy! If you want to use your real name then use it. If you don't want to then don't. And if you don't, it's absolutely NO BUSINESS of the ones that do. Have we come to...

    Bullet In Neck

I've heard here and there that you should have at least the bullets diameter in the neck. If you're shooting a 6mm then supposedly you need .243" of bullet in the neck. Just what I've heard. Like Wilbur, I've shot some bullets that were hanging on by a thread to get to the rifling and they shot...

    My farm pond dried up.

gt40, my pond is much the same way right now as here in Georgia we are still mighty dry. The old timers in these parts swear that herons, egrets, water turkeys, etc. will catch fish from nearby water sources to populate or repopulate a body of water to give them another feeding ground. I can't...
