+1 This is the kit I have. I recommend getting a kit with the angled eyepiece. I can't imagine not having it though I've heard some here say it's not an issue.

Been years since I've been in a No. 1 but I believe there is a sear spring. May want to check that to make sure it's pushing the sear against the hammer to engage the sear notch. If it's broken or has a different or cut spring, this could be part of the problem.

Try clicking on the compatibility view button on the top of your IE page, next to the reload button and see if that cures your problem. I've had an issue with windows 7 and newer browser that was cured by clicking that button. It's worth a try.....
