Is there a full 2 gun list available yet?

    Lt-32

There are definitely dirtier powders than N133, but I wouldn't exactly call N133 clean. It'll give twice as many black patches as H322 or XBR.

    Cactus tables

I never met a benchrest shooter who wouldn't gladly clear half his stuff off a bench to give another shooter some room to load if necessary. Just make sure that if that benchrester is Jim Erickson, be on the upwind half of the bench!:D:p

    Boy! Was I Ever Wrong

I'd agree with your friend's assessment of the runout gauge, or at least to the degree of importance it tells us. But I'd totally disagree with him about the chronograph. It's an integral part of learning what temperature does to velocities and how that correlates to tune. It's sure helped me...

    2013 Purple Haze - HV and 2gun

More than my boots are tolerating! I need a new pair worse than a new barrel!:D

    2013 Purple Haze - HV and 2gun

Well, we spotted a herd about 5 miles away across a huge canyon, but by the time we finally hiked over there, they had gone out the back door somewhere. We're headed back down there tomorrow to give it another try. Here is one we got on opening morning a couple weeks ago...

    2013 Purple Haze - HV and 2gun

Congrats to Larry on some nice shooting. Good to see some boys from Texas and NM come on up. Sorry this boy from next door couldn't come this year..........I was really looking forward to it, but spent the weekend in some desert canyon in the middle-of-nowhere that less than a half dozen...

    2013 Purple Haze - HV and 2gun

Afrench, I notice that you post the results from many matches out here in the west with pictures of the wailing wall print-outs as if you were the one who took the pic. My question is, who are you!? I never see your name on the lists and I've never met you that I know of. Even at the...

    BT vs FB Bullets

Fwiw, I watched over Tony's shoulder last October as he layed down an amazing UL agg that was near a world record at the NBRSA Nationals. Barrel was a Bartlein (cut), bullets were Berger columns (FB). Looked like it was working pretty well to me! You coulda taken all 8 targets with 80 shots...

Point Newbie in Right Direction to the Matches

Forgot to mention we have two shoots per year up here in your neighboring state to the north as well. It's a bit of a drive (600 miles from Ben Avery) but worth it. Sure would be nice to see somebody come up from AZ once in awhile 'cause lord knows we come down there all the time! hint hint...

Point Newbie in Right Direction to the Matches

You've got registered NBRSA group matches just a short drive (relatively speaking) north of you in Anthem, AZ at the Ben Avery Range. Contact Art Clegg @ 623-878-4979. He is a very nice guy and will be glad to help you get started.

Do You or Don't You??? (resize 220 Russian)

I've made cases in every way possible and even some that were very impractical and I honestly couldn't tell any difference in accuracy with any of them. That being said, I still think I like the old "shoot 220 russian loaded rounds down an old 6ppc barrel" method. Take 'em out, clean them...

    BAT Model S

My uncle just got a Bat back from Dwight Scott. It was there for "upgrades". You may want to contact Dwight before going any further with your build. That's all I'm sayin'.;)

Some discussion on the "new" IBS target, please.

Good luck at Fairchance. Wish I were going but that is farther than I'm willing to travel this year! Dang $4 gas.:(

Some discussion on the "new" IBS target, please.

    1. Don't know about IBS, but I have never seen any registered NBRSA match without a mirage board, and the Nationals will certainly have one! 2. Doesn't matter for 100-200 yards. Most mirage boards, target boards, target frames aren't level either. You are just looking for a reference point...

Some discussion on the "new" IBS target, please.

If I can't see the mothball, I parallel the horizontal crosshair with the mirage board lines and then run the vertical crosshair through the center of the big black square. If I pull the trigger and can't see the bullet hole, then I try to wait for the same condition and shoot same place again...
