thanks all. this is my second 22-250AI first was a 12 twist VLPS. it shot really well I should have never gotten rid of it. this gun is gonna go on a hunting sporter style stock not a bench stock.

Anyone shooting .22 at 1000 yards??? just curious I was looking at the fast twist barrels and maybe doing a .22 big dog.

Just got a new 22-250 Ackley with a krieger barrel 26" with an 8 twist. I am gonna try the 77 and 80 grain bergers? what kinda speeds do you think I can get?? I am hoping for the 3400 range.

Big 280AI fan, but for hunting. for 1000 yards and under target I like the 6's and 6.5's for 1000 yards and under hunting I think the 280Improved is an awesome round.

This is the only reason that I am not 100% sure on doing it. I loved archery and did very well then made it a job and I could care less if I shoot anymore. I am still a little on the fence on which direction I am going.

I will be happy with 2950. I am sitting at 2839 with this barrel and load but it does shoot really well.

Running and owning a company isn't something that I am worried about. It can't be any harder than some of the things I have already done lol. I don't wanna spend more than 500K but I already have the land so that may be possible.

Thats kinda what I thought. I figured a large club house with good restroom facilitys and a kitchen for events would make a great range. Vending machines for the regular members. What about having a small shop there?? selling bullets, powder, primers, tools, etc.???

What all would you like to see in and arround a 1000 or more yard range? Benches, clubhouse, food, on sight ammo and powder?? I have some property and I have been doing a little to much thinking if you know what I mean.
