    Panda ???s

About .005" is probably what most BR smiths do, around .010" is fine for field-use rifles, and I wouldn´t want to go much beyond that in a BR gun. //Peter

    2 - 6 PPC questions

Do you have a very strong ejector spring that dents the necks? With almost two thousands clearance, the bullets should slip into the neck on fired unized brass! //Peter

Anyone use the roller bearing on their 2 lug BAT bolt?

I have tried the roller bearing, and the normal one in a SV action, both fireing assemblys had 22lbs springs. IF there were any noticable difference, it was very slight, so slight that I couldn´t tell the difference when operated at normal speed. But, they sure look cool!:p //Peter

I thought it was extra dies... Look like one extra core seater and two extra point dies. I have already bought it, but what do you guys recon would be a fair price?

    Swaging die mfg?

They look like B&A dies for sure! Anyone got any idea what the three threaded pieces in the lower right section is? Bought the dies of ebay, and the seller doesn´t really know what he has sold and I´m not 100% sure about what their use is.

Folks using Scarborough or Scoville stocks

The low soft protector bag, with 2.5" high cordura ears, and about 3/8" gap. I´m quite happy with it. I think they call the bag 13C. Need to be used with a donut bag.

    Scope slipping in rings

I have had good luck with a single wrap of masking tape on the scope tube. Aquaseal or liquisole glue also work great and is removable. //Peter

Can you make a custom die using your chamber reamer?

Have you tried chemical nickel? They apply it without electricity, and claim that it will form a very uniform layer, and stick well to corners without buildup. I haven´t tried eighter! :) //Peter

Can you make a custom die using your chamber reamer?

May I ask why? Hard chrome, or chemical nickel plating, looks good on the paper (to me). You could use an old worn out barrel and turn it into a usable sizing die. Just polish the top part a little, and then apply the finish. The finish is really hard and slick, if I remember correctly it´s in...

    Primer cratering in a Panda

You probably have the .075" fireing pin hole. Take the fireing pin out and measure the tip, my guess is that your action have the bigger hole. Nowadays, you can specify if you want .062", .068", or .075". Back then, they probably only had .075". Anyways, as long as they don´t break, it´s a no...

Can a Remington 7mmMag bolt face be bushed to 30-06?

The ones I´m particulary thinking about are all the Bat machine, Borden, Farley actions with a Sako style extractors, and also the Stiller Predators with M16 style. There are for sure more mfg´s using them, the above stated ones were just a pick out of my head. I get the idea about the flying...

Can a Remington 7mmMag bolt face be bushed to 30-06?

What I don´t get is that many of the custom action makers feel safe to use the various claw type extractors in remington clones, but alot of gunsmiths feels it´s really dangerous and won´t do it? What is the difference? //Peter

    Brass - Normal or Crazy

It´s not easy! I use two or three bushings stacked togeather that slips over the bullet but not the neck. You probably could use one of those sinclair bullet sorting things with a specially made insert, or use a .257" tool that lets the 6mm bullet pass thru, but not the .269" neck.. It´s really...

    Brass - Normal or Crazy

That was how I started thinking about it! Just couldn´t belive the case growth after resizing, and started toying around. Realised that when using heavy neck tension, and sizing half or so of the neck, you will see quite a bit of lenghtening. But, it will shrink back when you seat the bullet...
