TODD, Uncle Larry just finally got it all together on the same day. I really think the most fun I had was getting all my money back from Butch Fjoser plus some. Just remember guys. the more you practice, the luckier you get. Lowell and I were both in a slump the last 2 years. He mops up...

A two question "questionaire" for NBRSA Members

Wilbur, Let me add farther: I did not mean that non participating members should not have a vote. What I really was trying to get across :::: Non-participating shooting members should not be complaining and trying to change the rules when they are not familiar with how the process works.

A two question "questionaire" for NBRSA Members

I would like to reply to this post. I can not speak for the other regions but our region has 2 meetings a year (at shoots). The first at New Braunfels and the second at the Buffalo in Midland. The last meeting we discuss the upcoming proposals from the other regions and cast our opinions as...

    Why Not A .23 Caliber

Jackie, Bob had made a draw die to bring the .750 6mm jacket down to the .234 with about .770 length. Wilbur, yes you had to be on Bob's good side, but he would do most anything for you. Bad side is another story.

    Why Not A .23 Caliber

Jackie, all you newer shooters do not realize that most of the new ideas have already been tested in the past. We were not exactly dumb in the early years. The .234 caliber was tried and used by none other than myself and Bob Simonson 20 to 25 years ago. He would make the bullet dies and I...

    Denton TX day 2 results.

Jerry, you and James ran a very nice shoot. Everything ran very smooth and yet not rushed. The food was great and all the folks, well what can I say. No distractions other than Jackie trying to back a motor home around a sharp corner. It was only buried axle deep. I knew I had a chance this...

    How a tuner works

I have been messing with tuners ever since Jackie started beating me with them. My down fall in benchrest has always been tune. I thought if something would help, I was going to try it. Being an unknown area with not a lot of factful proof, I made several different tuner designs. My findings...

scratch on neck with Redding bushing? why?

Scratched Neck i can tell you exactly what the problem is. It is not the bushings. The die you have does not have enough opening in the the neck area before it enters the bushing. Lap out the opening and your problems are solved.
