Thanks Gene. My rifle is a 30BR and the brass has been fired about 10 times. I noticed that they are not all the same length now and thought about trimming them to the length of the shortest ones but didn't want to create a problem with the carbon ring. Thanks for the help, Dick

If my chamber measures 1.5300 from the face of the bolt to the end of the neck, what should I trim the brass to ? What is the minimum amount of clearance required ? I want to be safe but don't want so much clearance that I have a carbon ring problem. TIA, Dick

I read somewhere that when loading for the 30BR it is best to seat the bullet with a lot of neck tension. My loaded round measures 0.3275". What size bushing should I use ? TIA, Dick
