Will this work in a .30BR?

I have a Shilen 1:15 twist barrel that shoots the 125g and 118g bullets very well, and was wondering if the 135g Sierra match would be practical for the the .30BR or is it more useful in the .308W?

It will work just fine with a 15" twist, and down to a 17" twist. As far as accuracy, I have seen this bullet shoot in the ones, but don't expect it to agg as well as bullets made on the J4 jackets.

IMHO, don't try to reinvent the wheel here. Stick with a good custom J4 jacket 112-125 gr bullet that your barrel likes. --greg

I shoot the Sierra 135 MK's in a 30BR, 17 twist barrel. They stabilize just fine. Velocity, IIRC, was about 2850 or so using about 31 grains of H4198. Accuracy is decent but not competition decent.
