will a ppc feed???????

I have a model 16 savage short action in .243. I am trying to rechamber some old br barrels in a 6ppc for hunting, but cant make it eject or feed. Need ideas.

Probably

You will need to change the bolt face. The PPC has a smaller head than the 243. Should be easy to change the bolt face. Feeding may be a challenge but you should be able to find a magazine that will work for you.

It will be a pain in the butt to try to make feed and probably never will.

I'm guessing your rifle is a stagger feed set-up. They will not feed BR's or PPC's reliably. If your gun is a center feed, you can change the magazine box out for a .223 box and tweak the lips. I just did one for a 7.62X39 and it works flawless, but it only holds 3 rounds.
