Wild River Air Rifle - USARB Report

Indoor February 11, 2015

Mike Aber’s work on his EV2 has paid big dividends. Mike was voted “most improved”. Ron is still chasing those “X’s” and I have a feeling that we may see a blue P70FT next month. Oliver, we missed you!

Pictures - a little late

I got so excited about my match scores I forgot to take some pictures of the match but here are a few that Dick Strever took of us with my camera while we were checking out his Thomas LV BR mechanical.

Dick was very generous in allowing us to fondle and test his gun after the match.

Me... shooting my EV2. Now I need to sort through about a dozen lot numbers of pellets with my recently finished DIY air gage.

I've been working on the EV2 for about a year and a RAW TM1000X for 4 months; now that the EV2 is where I feel it's competitive I can concentrate on the RAW with several barrels I want to try.

Thomas ?

Dick,
Do you seat your pellets flush with the breech or seat them in a ways with a tool?
I have better luck seating them in aways.

Paul
i seat them with a tool so i know they are all at the same depth
looking for the correct pellet is a lot of work and they will all sit differently if not seated.
have you had that good bunch of pellets you have analyzed ? for head size, skirt size, length, etc ?
so looking at new ones with the same features will be easier to find the next batch of good ones :)
