So your saying use a 22" barrel on the 260?

This is 1000 Yard Benchrest. Not often that you will see barrels shorter then 26". And most are 26" to 32" for reasons of accuracy and speed for our long heavy bullets that we use, no matter what the caliber.
Dan Lilja's barrel reputation speaks for itself in this sport. Since you are wanting one his barrels, I suggest calling or email him. He is good to give great answers! as are most manufactures in this sport.

Learn to judge the wind and it will be your friend
-----my rifles like the SMK's and I always shoot for score not group because group does nothing to increase your skill set to put the bullet in the middle of bull..... I started to compete to help my shooting in the field and it has improved it quite a bit. Will get funny looks when I am the last guy shooting on the line sometimes.
