who does anodizining

Itll never shoot again if its pretty! Do it all at once or itll be all different colors. You should try it yourself. I dont trust an anodizing shop with my railgun complete

Thee is a good Youtube on DYI Anodizing

Tom's Techniques, a channel of various machining and related topics. Great stuff there for we newbies.

I don't know anything about them except that they have batch pricing and they will not throw your stuff in with someone else's small batch and split the cost.
They have been in business since 1980's so they are doing something right for someone.

You may want to talk it over with the anodizer. Ask him what it's going to look like when it gets redone. Sometimes the results are less than stellar. They may have 10 different customers stuff and we always get the minimum price.

You need to tell them what all the is material, or warn them that you don't know. It's bad juju to mix AL alloys in the same tank.

Listen to TRA. They will have to strip yours and then to have a good finish, you will need to polish it before anodizing. Most all plating magnifies al blemishes.

FFL required most likely.

Make sure the shop understands.

The receiver is the 'gun' under BATFE rules most of the time.
