Bore Guide

If you getting ready to build a 30PPC,I have a new Lucas Bore Guide and a PPG 30PPC reamer that has cut one chamber before I got out of the 30PPC game.
I will make you a good deal on both if you are interested.

Lucas Bore Guide

My vote is for the Lucas Bore Guide. I also have about six of them and they work great.

Welll now. Thanks for your input, David. With a response like yours to a simple question like mine, I guess it safe to assume a couple of things. One of which is that the Lucas bore guide works with the ppc diameter case and 30 caliber. The other, welllll.....nuff said.---Mike Ezell

Wow

I sure hate to suggest another song while every body is singing 'cumbayah', but the best bore guide on the market is the TK Nolan Barrel Saver. I use the same ones with my 30 cal as I do my 6mm. The Nolan has only one flaw, it's price.

Of course, that is not to say that the Lucus is not a first class product. But, I see quite a few shooters using the Lucus without the rear insert. If you do not use the rear insert, you might as well not us a guide at all..........jackie

Jackie, I've been using the Sinclair bore guide for a PPC, that I opened up for the 30 cal. It's really thin where the o-ring goes on and I have broken it there a time or two. I was just wondering what you and others were happy with. Thanks for the advice.---Mike Ezell
