Where to buy Clairo walnut gunstock blank

Does any one have any suggestions where to buy a Claio walnut gunstock blank for a rifle ?
I plan on shaping and inletting myself .

There are a ton of good places to buy "Claro" but one of the best derivatives I'm aware of can be found here.... Goby is spectacular and exhibits a unique red tint....

Others I've used personally are Fajen, Calico, gunstockblanks.com and Gilmer. You've just gotta' find the look and pricepoint you're interested in

If I may offer free advice, DO NOT try to color or tint walnut. Buy the shade you want right upfront.

I saw a candy dish in a shop made from Silky Oak last November.. I was smitten! Does anyone know if a source for stock blanks in Silky Oak?

Try these folk. They may be able to help you out.

Take a look at their Bocote...absolutely beautiful. I have a recurve bow made of Bocote and it will make your sticker peck out!
