Weather is forcing a slight change in the Va State Indoor Championship at Piney Hill

Tomorrow’s storm is now forecasted at 5-8 inches of snow at Piney Hill. This is forcing some modification of the schedule.

The Virginia State Indoor Sporter and 3-Gun Yards will now both be shot on Saturday. The Virginia State Indoor Sporter will start at 9:00 am and the 3-Gun Yards will follow. The 3-Gun Meters will be shot on Sunday as scheduled.

The range will be open for practice on Friday but we’re asking that shooters not arrive until noon to allow time for plowing the lot.

Come on out and shoot!
 
Good to go...

I just heard from Bill Hinegardner and the lot is plowed at Piney Hill and someone will be there this afternoon for anyone that wants to practice. He said the roads near the range are still tricky but the bright sunshine will hopefully melt this stuff.

The match schedule for the weekend is the same as previously posted.

Saturday

9:00 am- Va. State Indoor Sporter

followed by Va State 3-Gun (Yards)

Sunday

Va State 3 Gun Meters- Starting ime will be voted on by shooters on Saturday but is usually started at 8:00.
 
Bruce: Remind the Saturday shooters that we change clocks at 2:00 AM Sunday. Spring forward as they say. Hope you get good participation. bob
