Speaking of Johnson City, Jerry Ewing ran the NBRSA matches there before Norman, about 1989.

The last match we shot there we had 13 shooters. Then we spent $85,000 at Kettlefoot.

..

Alex Calder was 70 yo
John Inman died in 2019 and was 77 yo

and his son shot for a little while. Jerry, do you remember Dennis Brame and Mickey Conley? I think their home range was Rockingham? Conley, as I remember had a hot rail gun. Not sure if they have passed or not

Bill

Glad to hear she is doing well. I once told her bench rest should be more like handicap horse racing where the jockeys are weighted down according to the horse’s speed. I said LV should be shooter and rifle weigh in at 100 pounds and HV weigh in at 103 pounds. Ruth weighed MAYBE 85 pounds.
How are you holding up? One of these days you and we may be able to cross the border.

With so many of our benchrest friends and acquaintances having "left the range," I thought it would be nice to have a somewhat comprehensive list of them. Feel free to post name(s), year(s) of death, and age at death of your benchrest friends and acquaintances who have "left the range"; I'll add them to a "master" list below -- that way there will be one "comprehensive" list.

I think the list below reflects all the above additions (as corrected). Can any of you provide the year of death and/or age at death (or enough info so I can find an obit) for those that do not show those details? Also, feel free to correct (or confirm) the spelling of those names below followed by "(sp?)."

Don't forget John Bunch. PICTURE BW

He got me started in BR and was Red Cornelison's PICTURE BW travel buddy and great friend.

I started this project with the soul purpose that any range that was going to hold The Nationals or Super Shoot they would get this information for FREE, they have to pay to ship the hardrive to me and I would ship it back FREE, and they would have to display it for FREE. As of yet the only two have been ST LOUIS and of course KELBLY'S
