Wayne Smith's Sporters

Phil, me thinks that the senior jarhead has been indulging in laced Peach Fresca? First, how many Wayne Smith sporters do you expect to arrive at the Crawfish? Do you really expect to shoot another 250-12X here in Jax? The gentle sea breezes will contest your extreme capabilities and offer the real challenge.:eek: Since you have "aroused my competitive spirit" and inter-service rivalry,(Navy-Marine Corps):D:D, I offer you this: If you shoot a 250 with any X-count, I will purchase for you a case of Peach Fresca, and buy you dinner at J.L. Trents!:) If you fail to shoot to the capabilities of Wayne's Sporter again, you must wear a T-shirt at the Nationals this year, with the Logo "I got beat by the Navy" on it!:eek: Like they say on TV, "Deal or No Deal? Thumper;);)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it be an INTRA-service rivalry, seeing as how the Marine Corp is a branch of the Navy?

Moosie

We were always told the Navy was a part of the Marine Corps!! We had to have somebody to carry us to the fight, because they had taken our drivers license away!!!:D:D:D:D
I don't like to say too much because my son-in-law is a Naval Officer, but he was in the Marine Corps reserves his first 2 years in college.

Phil

I have to admit that Phil has a great sporter. I shot against him in Georgetown, Ga this weekend. He shot a a 250 12 X and I shot a 249 14 X. My loss was holding off too much and a moderate wind. I have to blame Bill Myers for making a rifle too accurate for me. However, Wayne bedded it for me. Both great guys. The Jar Head will be beat in Cordele and Jacksonville or I'll pay for his ice cream bill.

Hmmmmm..

Looks like Wayne is gonna be credited with a bunch of sporter rifles. Get out those pre-printed registration sheets and make the change. If Phil gets a bad bullet - Lunch!
