Today we held our first 50/50 match of the year. I would like to thank all those who helped with setting up, signing in, the food and cleaning up. Thank you. It was nice meeting new shooter Mike Tunis from upstate. Conditions were 10-15 mph winds. Congratulations to Bob Griffin on shooting the first 250 at Wawarsing.

Wawarsing Match

I had a great time shooting today with a great bunch of guys. The weather actually turned out to be pretty good not too bad, aside from the wind:eek:

Great match you ran today Bob. Can't ask for more than that.

Gordon and Mel, lunch really hit the spot, just what the doctor ordered.

Looking forward to shooting with you guys again.

Bainer,
I had a great time at the match yesterday, except for the shooting part:eek:. You did a great job running the match and shot real well under pressure, too! Congrats to Bob Griffin on the first 250 shot at Wawarsing, in some of the toughest conditions I've ever seen there!!!

Hope to see all of you guys at Wallkill next week!
Todd

Thanks Bob for the Match .... and Thanks to the Eck Brothers for the food.

I had a real good time at my first IR 50/50 Match .... and I'm sure not my last.

It was Great Meeting some new faces and getting together with some that I already knew.

Fred

Looks like you Eck boys did well. Good shooting all.

Ara Wind Storm Match

Bob, From the looks of the scores, the wind must have been trickey! Congrads to the winners, good shooting! I would have liked being there, probably would not have not shot worth a darn, but I would have had a good lunch!!! See you all when I get home. Marty

Congratulations guys. Sounds like you had a good match.
My first match in NY will be at Salem on the 27th. Looking forward to seeing you all then.

Best,
Michael

I forgot to thank Gordon for swapping rifles with me for the 13.5lb class. He probably would have shot his Suhl much better than I did, and he was working on tuning my gun while shooting the target. I think he got it close, but it was hard to tell with the wind blowing like it was!

Michael, it will be good to see you again on the 27th. I'm just hoping the weather is good enough for our club work day on the 19th for us to rebuild the target stands...the old ones are already torn down:eek: I wonder if anyone has ever run a BYOTS(bring your own target stand) match? It could be worse. The club President wanted to schedule the work day for the 26th:rolleyes:
Todd.
