Vermont State Metric Champ, Congrats to John Cascarino

Congratulations to John Cascarino for winning the Vermont State Metric Championship this weekend in St. Johnsbury Vermont .
I believe John took 3rd yesterday with a 250 and ?x but won the 200 today with a 248 in what Herb told me were the worst conditions he ever saw at the Vermont range. John also won the Grand by beating Herb Llewellyn by one point.
Yesterday Kim Llewellyn turned in a tear jerker performance having 19 X's going into match 5 Kim needed 5x to break the record but deteriorating conditions took their toll and she got caught for a 9 on her first record shot and followed it with 4 more x's . I believe Roscoe Murray won the 100 with 250-21x all of this data is from my memory of a phone conversation with Herb so not necessarily 100% accurate.

KL Miller was on a tear with his Varmint Hunter gun and set two potential records.

i will probably have full results on the IBS webpage soon as Vermont is usually very fast to send me results.

It was a pleasure to watch the Masters at work this weekend. I was able to watch KL, John and Orland shoot every one of their targets, hoping to learn something. My problem continues to be, I can't seem to learn anything about shooting. Heck of a Clinic K.L., John and Orland. Hope still spring eternal in my heart.

And good shooting to everyone else. Caledonia was a very Nasty Place to play this past weekend. It was a real test. Records don't always get broken in the easy stuff, as anyone there knows now.

Congratulations to all. From the sounds of things, it was trying times for everyone. Way to go JOHN!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to all the winners and especially my buddy, John. He is a solid shooter and a hell of a nice guy.
Tough conditions bring out the best!
